Well, at least it's not Monday anymore, though my day went super-fast yesterday. Three hours of meeting with students and their families, having to be perky and happy and know all the answers will really take it out of a person. The rest of the week should go pretty quickly, too. Tomorrow I head downstate for a college fair with one of the new reps...the bosses know I want that territory for next year so they suggested I go with her and do her training. College fairs are really fun but this one won't be the same without the Northern Crew I met in the UP. They know how to make a week in the boondocks fun, that's for sure!
Thanks for all the comments yesterday, friends. The whole "college being where you mature the most" thing also helps explain the situation.
